This garden situated at Pope Hennessy St., Beau Bassin, has been created by the Ministry of Environment and The National Development Unit, inaugurated on the 28 August 2004 and ultimately vested into the Municipal Council. It is in phase with the mission of the Council to create green spaces where the whole family can gather and chat leisurely. Its concept is fairly revolutionary given the craft works on its enclosure and use of existing rocks to retain the soil around the plants.
